How to add flock vaccination activities on Kukufarm

Here are the steps to adding a flock vaccination or treatment activity to your flock schedule.

  1. From the Flock Records’ viewing screen, tap on Schedule tab, and then tap the Add button.
  2. In the New activity screen, select a treatment. Then set respective treatment time, method, and notes .e.g medication name.
  3. If the disease or treatment is administered more than once, add respective treatments and fill in respective details as in step 2.
  4. Tap the Save button, in the Schedule tab you will see the vaccination or treatment activities you have just added.

For the purpose of this exercise we refer to Kenchic’s vaccination schedule below.

View, edit and delete activities from your poultry vaccination schedule

Once you’ve added flock vaccination or treatment activities, you will be able to view them from the Schedule tab. Moreover, they will be ordered by date / time of administration.

To edit or delete a treatment activity tap on the treatment card to view full treatment information. In the activity schedule viewing screen, you can tap the edit icon to edit the activity’s schedule. Furthermore, you can delete the entire schedule for activity by tapping in the delete icon.

Mark an flock vaccination or treatment activity as done

To mark a schedule activity as done, you simply tap on the radio icon on the respective activity card. In addition to showing that that activity is now done, it will also add a date when you marked the activity as done.

This way, you can keep track of what vaccinations or treatments are done. Moreover, this will become part of your poultry records. When you look back, you will be able to tell what treatment activities you administered to your flock and when.
